Step in here and your having a good southern comfort experience!! I think of the movie - O Brother Where Art Though! Eating here makes you feel like you're back in time! Food - Frog legs were the best and your not eating no tree frog leg! LOL. Brisket sandwich was awesome and hit the spot. Service - great southern service with a smile. Atmosphere - Small town charm with the southern touch of class.

Fantastic discovery today driving from North Myrtle Beach to Charlotte. The food was so delicious. All members of my party were very happy. We had the grouper tacos (a special), double cheese burger with fries, chicken tenders and fries, chicken sandwich, okra, and pecan bread pudding. Pecan bread pudding was totally worth the calories!!!

My husband had the jumbo Chicken wings which were delicious, juicy, crunchy, fries were seasoned and cooked perfectly, ocra was breaded nicely with good flavor, my daughter had the kids chicken tender which was seasoned and breaded perfectly and once again the fries were on point, I had the salmon with wild rice and broccoli and I am picky about my salmon and it was cooked perfectly, broccoli still had crunch which is the way I like it,and the rice was cooked to perfection we also had the gator bit which breading and season was great and that dipping sauce was to die for. Saved the sauce for my salmon. Margarita are great additions too. We will be back! Thank you Olivers you made our Valentine's dinner perfectly!

I live here and get to enjoy Oliver's all the time! I treat myself almost every weekend to their delicious prime rib. Tonight I also got their chocolate chip cheesecake for dessert. I just drove up and my favorite waitress brought it to my car. I like to take it home because I don't like for people to see me "inhaling" this food! It's not a pretty site to see me devouring this like a wild animal! It's absolutely the best! Kudos to Jeff and Elizabeth!

Oliver's isn't trying to be anything besides a family restaurant in a small town. No frills, just good food. We were desperately looking for a place to sit down on our way into Richmond County and found Oliver's on Google. Charming. Delicious. Well-priced. I loved the nostalgic salad bar. The wings were fresh, hot, flavorful, crispy, and not too spicy. I ordered the ribeye special. Cooked to medium rare as requested. Baked potato was pretty regular but served with real butter. Meat was good quality all around. My fiance ordered the fried pork chops. Southerner Stamp of Approval. Two chops, fried okra, and mashed potatoes with brown gravy for $14.95. A price you can't beat. I would comment that they were more of a chicken fried style over the lighter breading one often finds in southern home cooking. Moist, crispy, well seasoned. If we're ever in the area again, we'll be back.

We absolutely love going to Oliver's! We've gone for dinner many times and even brought out-of-state and our family from England who loved it too. We went for lunch for the first time yesterday and the food and service were on-point as always. The fried pickels were PERFECT and the jalapeno bacon cheddar burgers were 10/10 (and what drew us there on a whim for lunch, lol). The staff is always so friendly and attentive, and all of the wait staff check the tables, not just the "assigned" waitress, which is so refreshing. We always look forward to coming to Oliver's
